How do I install Microsoft Office for free?

 

You can download and install the latest version of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneDrive for Business) through your WITC email account. Here is a printable guide to walk you through the steps.

How do I request an Interlibrary loan?

 

Visit our Interlibrary Loans page under the Research tab and follow the directions to request a resource from a non-WITC library.  When prompted for a username and password please follow the directions found here.

 

What is APA formatting and how do I use it?

 

APA formatting is a formatting standard developed by the American Psychologial Association and is the standard by which most academic research follows. Visit our guide for details on how to properly format your papers to APA standards.

 

What web browser should I use when accessing Blackboard?

Where can I find of list of my required books?

 

The bookstore can better help you with questions regarding purchasing your required textbooks. Either stop in to your local WITC bookstore with your class list, or visit them online.

 

Where can I see my class schedule?

 

You can see your class schedule in the Student Center of the MyWITC portal. Click on the MyWITC link at the top of the WITC homepage, log in with your student ID number and password, then click on the Student Center link. Your schedule will be available on this page, with options of also viewing a weekly calendar schedule.

 

How can I refill my Papercut account?

 

Your Papercut account is given a one time credit of $25 when you enroll as a student at WITC. If you find that your account is getting low and need more credit for printing you can purchase $1 refill codes at the LRC and $5, $10, and $20 codes at the bookstore. To redeem a code click on the "details" text of the Papercut window, then click on "Redeem Card" on the left side of the window. Enter the code in the text box and click the "Redeem Card" button.

 

How do I search through the school library catalog?

 

To search through our library catalog head over to the Library Catalog page under the Reserach heading on the Learning Resource Center website. Once there you can perform a search of all of our digital and physical catalog items. If you would like to limit your search to only physical items you can refine your results by selecting the "Available in Library Collection" option or the physical location you're interested in in the left page column.
